This month I am committing to following the Isagenix strict 30-day plan. If you’ve not yet heard of Isagenix that’s a bummer. It’s, first off, a great company, and secondly, yummy super nutritious food. I’ll be following the weight-loss program. This means 2 shakes a day with a third 400-600 calorie meal and 2 snacks.
I’ve been doing intermittent fasting (IF) for a few months. I’m not seeing much in the way of results with weight changes. I’ll write more about IF later. But I’ve most certainly had less of an appetite when I wake up and tend to eat after 1p. Following the 30-day program for Isagenix includes two 2-day cleanses. These are nutritionally supported cellular cleanses that help your body rest and recover. Again, more on the benefits of fasting in a following post.
I’ve had great success with Isagenix in the past. At that time I was not following the whole person aspect of weight loss. The mental, physical and emotional aspects of weight loss are very important. Now is a time where I have strengthened myself mentally and emotionally. The physical part comes with my goal of moving 20 minutes each day and following the food program to the T.
