Yes, I know, it’s February 10th and I haven’t told you about the 30-day challenge for this month. Total transparency…I haven’t followed through. Which you heard about in my last post. BUT, I’m here to make a commitment.

I have an AMAZING trip planned next month. We’re going to Spain! Malaga via Madrid, the south of Spain with four day trips that include Tangier…AFRICA! I’ll officially have been on 4 continents with my parents and 2 of my closest cousins and 3 of those people are my best friends! I’m tearing up with so much joy right now. And of course DAD. Sidenote: Dad has nicknamed me Traveling Tracie because of my love of the passport life. And it’s amazing that we’ll get to go to Africa together because we’ve talked about it and neither of us had planned to go to Africa specifically. When we went to Greece, we went to Turkey which are the continents of Europe and Asia.

Okay, back to my main point, the 30-day challenge for this next period. I am completely committed to not feeling like shit/uncomfortable/sack of potatoes on the flights to and from Spain, along with, liking the photos I take on our trip. I’m going to follow a diet program that helped me get to my lowest adult weight since college. It comes in many many variations these days. Buzzwords like keto, low-carb, South Beach, Atkins…all started for me with the Curves Diet.

It is a low-glycemic, complex carbohydrate program. I felt amazing and sexy and skinnier than high school me when I did this program. It worked for me and I wasn’t hungry. YOU CAN EAT. My body, in particular, does not process simple sugars. When I don’t eat them, if I never ate them, I’d be a wafer. J/k. But I wouldn’t have all this extra flesh floating around on me! That’s for sure. I can actually feel my cravings lessening. When I think about eating and I think about the foods I shouldn’t be eating my mind says “no, Trace, we don’t want that. That won’t make us feel good and you’ll feel way worse after eating it so skip it.” And that my friend is a huge step in the best direction.

I’m stocked up on eggs, veggies, and all the staples that I need to follow the program. I will be keeping you updated. Once a week I will update you on my diet program. Keeping with the consistency I promised in my last post.

If you want more details of the Curves program, I might still have the book. I do remember most of it, and you can message me once I get my comment section fixed.

Always helping you to become the Beautiful Person you are meant to be with love.
